As of Nov 2, 2026, Amazon Game Studios has given no launch hour and no pre-load date for either day, so any exact time seen elsewhere is a guess. The game was first promised for 2026 and moved into 2027 when it was dated on Jun 2, 2026.

When does Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis come out?

Amazon Game Studios' post on the night of the State of Play opened by calling the date official for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam, Nintendo's US eShop and the PlayStation Blog all show the same day. The Switch 2 version launches with the others, not later.

The one regional exception in print is a footnote on the PlayStation Blog: the release date in Japan, Asia, Australia and New Zealand is Feb 13. That fits a single worldwide unlock that falls on Feb 12 in the Americas and Europe and on Feb 13 further east, but Amazon has not said so.

What time does Legacy of Atlantis unlock?

Nobody outside the makers knows yet. No unlock hour has been published by Amazon, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo as of Nov 2, 2026; Steam shows the date only. The launch clock on this viki counts to midnight UTC on Feb 12 for that reason alone: it is not a prediction of the hour.

How does Legacy of Atlantis early access work?

6:25 The Deluxe Edition includes 48-Hour Early Launch Access, listed as a pre-order bonus, and the physical Collector's Edition includes everything in Deluxe. Amazon says that means you can play from Feb 10, two days before the worldwide launch. On Steam the Deluxe Edition reads "Advance Access Starts Feb 10, 2027." This is a head start on the finished game, not an unfinished early access period, and the Standard Edition starts on Feb 12.

Early launch access is not available in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong/Taiwan and Southeast Asia, which Amazon's list says includes Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines among others. Players there start on launch day with every edition.

One point is open: the official copy calls the early access a pre-order bonus and says nothing about a Deluxe Edition bought after launch. What each edition costs and contains is on Legacy of Atlantis Editions and Price.

How the date moved

Why was Legacy of Atlantis delayed?

No reason has been given. Neither Amazon nor the studios explained the move out of 2026 in any statement found for this page, and Kotaku noted that the news reached players through a quiet Amazon listing before any announcement. PC Gamer put the new date at a couple of months past the 2026 target. After playing the June demo, Kotaku's Kenneth Shepard wrote that the delay was probably for the best given its rough edges; that is one critic's view, not the studio's.

The period around the delay was a hard one for both companies. Amazon cut about 14,000 corporate roles in October 2025 and said it would keep working with Crystal Dynamics on Tomb Raider, and Crystal Dynamics made its fourth round of layoffs in 12 months in March 2026 while saying it remained committed to both announced games. No source links either event to the new date.

Dates reported wrongly

Two other dates circulate. The Feb 10, 2027 date from the deleted Amazon listing matches the start of the Deluxe early access, not the launch. Gamereactor's game-facts box gave Feb 11, 2027, while every first-party store says Feb 12, which looks like a time-zone slip in a database. Neither is the release date.

When can you pre-load Legacy of Atlantis?

Can you play Legacy of Atlantis before release?
