Controls and MovementThe 1996 Tomb Raider uses tank controls on a grid of blocks: Up runs forward, Left and Right turn Lara in place, and jumps cover set distances. Tomb Raider I-III Remastered adds modern controls, and Legacy of Atlantis replaces the grid with sprinting, a grapple and Survivor-style climbing.
-
EnemiesThe 1996 Tomb Raider's enemies are animals in Peru and Greece (bats, wolves, bears, raptors, a T. rex, lions, gorillas, crocodiles, rats, panthers), then mummies and Atlantean mutants, with bosses Larson, Pierre, three henchmen, the Torso and Natla. Legacy of Atlantis brings back the Peru animals and adds Natla's mercenaries. -
WeaponsThe 1996 Tomb Raider has four weapons: the pistols with unlimited ammo, the shotgun, the magnums and the Uzis, each found in more than one level. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis keeps the dual pistols and adds weapons found in the world that can be upgraded.
